This is one of my rejected artworks for an historical-themed school project. (Turkish War of Independence)
My teacher said: " The sword-wielding man looks too cruel ...even for war."
May be he's right..
This was meant to beat the deadline so you may notice it lacks some details..
That isn't cruel! Eating babies, that's cruel, but this is not.

wow. really good! maybe your teacher has never seen an angry person before. How can someone look too cruel for war??? You kill people you just met and if you don't kill them they'll kill you, and it's all for a cause far beyond any of you

It's a really good piece of artwork. My guess is it was rejected due to the fact your teacher wanted to not show war as a cruel thing.
